27 Jan 2012 | 10:24 amThe Chinese New Year party was a big hit. Most everything went off without a hitch. I made about 100 dumplings, so this year should be full of abundance and prosperity. I have learned that making that many dumplings is quite an endeavor and cooking 100 dumplings is even a greater task. The first batch I steamed in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper. My first mistake was that I didn’t spray the parchment with cooking spray and the dumplings all stuck to the paper. The next batch I boiled, they were good but tasted a little doughy.
